Reservoir Dogs back in theaters for 20th anniversary!

It’s been 20 years since Quentin Tarantino blasted on the scene with his first movie, Reservoir Dogs.

To commemorate the event, Miramax films is putting Reservoir Dogs back in the theaters for a limited engagement.

Listen up! For those of you that walked out of the theaters during the ear slashing torture sequence, you now have the opportunity to redeem yourself.

More information and photos can be found on the Miramax website.

A Huffington Post article reports that, “The theatrical release of ‘Reservoir Dogs’ will celebrate the brand new Quentin Tarantino DVD collection “Tarantino XX,” which features eight Tarantino films from the first 20 years of his career.”

It’s nice to see that Reservoir Dogs has help up so well over time. The movie was the last heavy brick Lawrence Tierney would throw at the silver screen, and it provided a nice bookend to Larry’s 50 year career as a gangster actor.

  1. This [Reservoir Dogs] boxset was published in 2009 as a build-up to the Inglourious Basterds premiere. Inglourious Basterds was not included because it wasn’t even in the theatres yet. Also, Inglourious Basterds was not the only movie .
